The following instructions are similar for Sandbox or Production setups. Begin by following them in Sandbox. Once we have the integration setup, we can validate things are working before moving to production.

To setup the Tai Integration, two things need to be completed:

Step 1: A Tai API Key should be sent to the Cargado team

Step 2: A Cargado webhook URL should be registered inside of the your Tai instance in order to send events to Cargado.

Step 3: Two custom reports must be setup to enable initial data sync

Step 1 Tai API Key

Please follow these Tai instructions to set up a Broker Staff API key for Cargado to connect to your account. More specifically:

  1. Create a new LSP Staff member. In the LSP menu > Staff, using the Staff List panel, “Add New LSP Staff Member”.
  2. Enter the following and click “Save and View List”

Name: Cargado API Login: <email we will provide you> Password: Automatically Generate a password Organization: Your brokerage (accounting) organization Status: Active Email: <same as login email> Permissions:

  1. Create a new API Public Authentication Key by going to the LSP menu > “Public Authentication Keys”
  2. Click “Add Public Authentication Key”
  3. Enter the following: Organization: Your brokerage (accounting) organization Staff: Cargado API (the member you just created) Status: Active

  1. Please send us the API Key (aka Authentication Key) </aside>

We will then connect it to a Cargado account to test out the connection.

Step 2 Register webhook URL

Please follow these instructions for setting up a webhook. You can also see Tai instructions:

  1. Go to the “LSP” menu > Integration Sources

  2. Click “Add New Integration Source”

  3. Enter the following: Source Description: “Public API Webhooks - Cargado API ([Sandbox or Production])” Source Type: “Public API Webhooks” Owner Organization: Your brokerage (accounting) organization

  4. Click “Save & View Details”

  5. If not in edit mode click “Edit details”

  6. Add the following to Source Settings
