Everything account administrators need to configure Cargado for their organization — from creating workspaces and teams to inviting users and managing permissions. Most brokers are fully operational within 24 hours.

Admin Setup is the process of configuring your Cargado account so your team can start posting freight and receiving carrier bids. As an admin, you control how your organization is structured — including workspaces, teams, and user access — and you're responsible for inviting team members and setting notification preferences.
What admins use this for:
Your journey starts with an invitation email from Cargado. Click the link to create your account, then immediately set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) to secure your login. Complete your profile with your name, phone number, and role — this information helps carriers know who they're working with.
Workspaces and teams are how you organize freight and people in Cargado. Workspaces typically represent offices or business units — for example, a Dallas office and a Laredo office. Teams are groups of users within a workspace who share freight visibility — for example, your Mexico cross-border team or your Canada team.
Most brokers start with a single workspace and one team, then expand as their cross-border operations grow. During onboarding, we've seen customers establish clear team structures from day one — separating Mexico and Canada operations so the right people see the right freight.
